Miguel Pavão

Graduated in dental medicine from Fernando Pessoa University, Porto (2004). Specialist in implantoprothesis at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2006). Master in dental aesthetics from Universidad Internacional da Catalunya (2008). Postgraduate in entrepreneurship and social innovation from the Faculty of Medicine of Porto and the Porto Social Foundation (2011). Dentist since 2004. President of the Portuguese Dental Association, since July 2020. Board Member of the Council European Dentists (CED). Founder and President of the NGO “Mundo a Sorrir”- Portuguese Dentists showing solidarity (2005 – 2018). Order of Merit awarded by the President of the Portuguese Republic, Professor Aníbal Cavaco Silva. Fellow of the Edmond de Rothschild Foundation and of the International Youth Foundation. Participation in several national and international scientific congresses and events. Author of opinion articles in national and international press, both generalist and specialized.
