Health economist, with a special interest in the field of medicines. Currently, her main areas of activity are Market Access and Corporate Affairs. Working at AstraZeneca since 2011, was responsible for the reimbursement of more than 25 new medicines/indications in the areas of oncology, respiratory and immunology, cardiovascular and metabolic areas. Is also leading the Governmental, Corporate Affairs and External Comms areas, where the local implementation of the Partnership for the Health Systems Sustainability and Resilience (PHSSR) stands up.Before joining AstraZeneca has developed her career at INFARMED as a Director forthe areas of HTA, monitoring of the use of medicines, implementation of policy measures in the field of medicines, with particular emphasis in the development of the market for generics in Portugal, and outcomes monitoring. In this role was deeply
involved in the monitoring of price and reimbursement policies at the European level. Participant as speaker in several courses and conferences in the areas of financing, ATV and HTa of medicines, nationally and internationally.
