Ana Lebre

Ana Lebre is an Infectious Diseases Specialist at Instituto Português de Oncologia do Porto. She is the Head of the Infectious Diseases and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Department at her institution. Currently she is the National Coordinator of STOP-Infeção Hospitalar 2.0, a large-scale quality improvement project focused on hospital-associated infections prevention. Vice-President of the General Assembly of the Portuguese Association of Hospital Infection (APIH). Ana integrated the National IPC and AMR Priority Program (PPCIRA/DGS) where she was responsible for the IPC sector and National Focal Point for the Healthcare- associated Infections Surveillance Network ECDC – Alternate (2017-2024).
