Master in Business Management from ISCTE, has an MBA from INDEG-ISCTE and completed the Intensive Luxury Management Program from HEC Paris. He has a degree in Animal Science and Technology from the University of Évora. He was a Deputy of the Lisbon Municipal Assembly between 2017 and 2021 and Chief of Staff of the Minister of Solidarity, Employment and Social Security in the 20th Government. In the XIX Government, he was Political Deputy to the Minister of Solidarity, Employment and Social Security. Since 2015, he returned to the private sector and is currently Director of External Affairs and Board Member at Johnson & Johnson, having assumed the role of Government Affairs & Policy Manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region in 2020.
