Francisco Kreye

Councilor of the Cascais City Council, where he oversees the areas of Sports and International Relations of the Municipality

Since 2021, Francisco Kreye has been elected Councilor of the Cascais City Council, where he oversees the areas of Sports and International Relations of the Municipality. He was born in Cascais, on December 23, 1989 and lives in Estoril. He has a degree in Sports Administration and Management from the Autonomous University of Lisbon, and in 2017, he completed a Postgraduate Degree in Management and Public Policies from the University of Lisbon. From 2016 to 2021, he was Director of a reference Sports Complex in the municipality of Cascais, where he performed management and general directorship roles for the sports organization. It was there where he began to design some of the public policies that he is now able to implement as Councilor for Sports. He was mayor and member of the Cascais-Estoril Parish Assembly between 2013 and 2021. In the period between 2020 and 2021 he was Vice-President of the Cascais Tourism Association. Between the years 2014 and 2015 he accumulated international experience in the aviation sector where he found the possibility of working and interacting daily with different cultures, exploring other continents – Africa, Asia, Europe and the USA as well as improving countless vital skills such as critical thinking, communication and adaptability.
