Graduated in Nuclear Medicine (health technology area), postgraduate in Business Management and in Information Management and Business Intelligence in Health, as well as a specialist in Hospital Administration, she currently works as Health and Social Municipal Director at Cascais City Council. She performed management roles in the area of primary health care for seven years as Executive Director of the Group of Health Centers (ACES) in Arrábida and, later, Cascais. She began her career in public administration in 2011, specifically in the health area, as a senior technician in the Central Administration of the Health System (ACSS), having worked essentially in health planning at national level until joining ACES Arrábida. In addition, she integrated the Advisory Council of the Portuguese Health Regulatory Authority as a representative of public providers (without hospitalization) and was a member of the board of the Portuguese Association of Hospital Administrators (APAH).
