Integrating care in ULS: Last year a new policy was adopted in the Integrated Care domain. Hospitals and Primary Care services were merged, in a universal vision for the NHS. New public entities were created with the already existing designation of ULS, with a new financing model based on the burden of disease. More than changes in clinical practice, the goal is to create value for the patients.
This parallel session will host a discussion with doctors and managers of some of the new ULS, looking for answers on how to evaluate these new entities and how to measure the patient outcomes.
