She was Secretary of State for Health of the XXI Constitutional Government (2017-2018); She served as President of the Board of Directors of the Regional Health Administration of Lisbon and Vale do Tejo, I. P. (2016 -2017); President of SAUDAÇOR — Sociedade Gestora de Recursos e Equipamentos de Saúde dos Açores, S. A. (2011 -2016); President of the Board of Directors of the Regional Health Administration of Alentejo, I. P. (2005 -2011); Administrator of Hospital do Espírito Santo — Évora, responsible for the MCDT area and hotel services (2002 -2005); Member of the Alentejo Regional Health Administration (1996 -2002); Administrator of Hospital do Espírito Santo — Évora, responsible for human resources management (1990 – 1996).
