Co-author of the book «Telemedicine in Portugal»; Founding Member and First President of the Portuguese Association for Integrated Care (PAFIC – Portuguese Association for Integrated Care); Founding member and first President of the League of Friends of Hospital do Espírito Santo de Évora; Consultant and Coordinator of several research studies in the areas of financing, primary healthcare and telemedicine. She was Secretary of State for Health of the XXI Constitutional Government (2017-2018); She served as President of the Board of Directors of the Regional Health Administration of Lisbon and Vale do Tejo, I. P. (2016 -2017); President of SAUDAÇOR — Sociedade Gestora de Recursos e Equipamentos de Saúde dos Açores, S. A. (2011 -2016); President of the Board of Directors of the Regional Health Administration of Alentejo, I. P.
