Passionate about technology and education, Mafalda is an economist by degree and entrepreneur at heart. She worked at Google for the last 5 years, bringing AI to the EMEA markets. She is also teaching and advising the Dean at the Executive Board of Nova SBE. She has lived in 5 different countries and studied at some of the top business schools like HÉC and CBS. Mafalda was selected by the President of Portugal to advise him about the future of the country and she is also part of the Board of CIP and the Center for Responsible AI pioneering the AI talent HUB. She is the co-founder of a TOP10% most shared globally podcast on Spotify to create more female role models. Mafalda is also the co-founder of an NGO (C-level Mentorship academy) to support closing the leadership ambition gap. She was the first Portuguese to be selected as Promising Young Leader by the St. Gallen Symposium and Financial Times. Mafalda recently published her first book and was recognized by FORBES.
