Senior Graduate Assistant in Internal Medicine since 1998. President of the Board of the Portuguese Association for Care Integration – PAFIC, since 2018. He held public office at the Hospital de Beja/Centro Hospitalar do Baixo Alentejo – Director of the Emergency Service; the Internal Medicine Service; Clinical Director. From 2006 to 2012 she was President of the Board of Directors of Hospital do Litoral Alentejano. She was a consultant for the ACSS Access Management Unit. AT ULSLA, she implemented and coordinated Care Integration projects – Case Management Program and Integrated Care Pathways. She was part of working groups from the Ministry of Health, including working group of the Mission Unit and Clinical Directors of Hospitals S.A. for accreditation by the Joint Commission International; working group of the Mission Unit of Hospitals S.A., to define the provision of services for Day Hospitals and External Consultations; Technical Support Committee for the Requalification Process of the General Emergency Network and Technical Support Group for Health Policies. During her activity, she attended the following training courses: 1st Postgraduate in Management of Health Units – UCP; ISCTE Advanced Program in Business Management; European Health Leadership Program – INSEAD Executive Education; PADIS-AESE.
